    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of 4th St. and Leavenworth St. on December 16, 2018, at approximately 8:25 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2006 Green Honda Pilot driven by Ashley MacDonald, 19, of Manhattan had struck a 1999 Blue Yamaha Moped driven by James Sicard, 58, of Manhattan. Sicard was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries.
    Hector Lima Jr., 23, of Los Angeles, California was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on December 16, 2018 at approximately 10:40 PM. Lima Jr. was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Lima Jr. was issued a total bond of $10,000.00. Lima Jr. was not confined at the time of this report.
    Officers filed a report for theft in the 200 block of Blue Earth Pl. in Manhattan on December 16, 2018 at approximately 10:15 PM. Officers listed Marlene Phillips, 52, and Jessica Phillips, 20, both of Green City, Missouri as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect took a laptop and pillow from their room. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,050.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for burglary in the 2600 block of Brook Cir in Manhattan on December 15, 2018 at approximately 12:35 PM. Officers listed Robert Baugh, 37, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took tools from him The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $600.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center on December 15, 2018 at approximately 5:15 PM. Officers listed Victoria’s Secret as the victim when it was reported unknown suspects took clothing items from the store. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,076.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 100 block of Sarber Ln. in Manhattan on December 15, 2018 at approximately 9:45 PM. Officers listed Christopher Westgate, 31, of Wamego as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged the tires on his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $700.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for theft in the 200 block of Southwind Pl. in Manhattan on December 14, 2018 at approximately 9:30 AM. Officers listed DPI Benefits, Darrell Phillips, 60, of Manhattan and Community First National Bank as the victims when it was reported a known female suspect paid for service using the victim’s information. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,543.00.
