A former Russell County detention officer, who was fired for having sex with inmates, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 3, by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, according to a release.
42-year-old Frank Alexander of Russell has been charged with two counts of unlawful sexual relations after the Russell County Sheriff requested the KBI investigate allegations against Alexander.
Initially booked in the Russell County Jail, Alexander had his first hearing today and was transferred to a nearby jail. The KBI wrote in its release that “nothing further will be released at this time.”
