MANHATTAN — A jury trial is set to begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday for a Manhattan man accused of shooting and injuring a Riley County police officer last year.
Riley County District Attorney Barry Wilkerson tells KMAN a jury has been selected in the trial of Mark Harrison, a former research associate at K-State. He is charged with shooting an officer in the leg in January 2018 (See KMAN’s original story from Jan. 7, 2018).
Harrison faces three counts of attempted capital murder and one count of felony criminal damage to property. The trial is expected to end in March.
