Rock Creek baseball has cruised to a 6-0 start thanks to wins over Abilene, Chapman and Wamego. The Mustangs high powered offense has scored at least 13 runs in every win so far this year. Senior captain Karter Carlson led the way this week against Chapman. He went 5 for 6 with a grand slam, a double, 6 RBI and 4 runs scored. 5 of those RBI came in one game when Carlson went 2 for 3 in a 13-1 win in game one of two. Congratulations to Karter Carlson of Rock Creek High School, the Powercat Sports Grill/KMAN “Student Athlete of the Week!”
