MANHATTAN — Three people were injured Monday in a crash in east Manhattan, that also resulted in one person being Life Flighted to Topeka.

According to Riley County Police Department PIO Hali Rowland, officers arrived on scene of a two vehicle crash at around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Tuttle Creek Blvd. and Allen Road. One of the vehicles, a Toyota Camry, had significant driver side damage. The driver of that vehicle had to be extracted from the vehicle. It’s believed that person was the victim who was air lifted. The other vehicle, a Ford Taurus had significant front end damage.

No details have been released on the severity of the injuries of those involved. RCPD has not released the names of those individuals.

Tuttle Creek Blvd. was shut down for close to an hour as officers responded. Additional responding agencies included Riley County EMS and Manhattan Fire.
