    Officers filed a report for theft of a motor vehicle in the 700 block of 3rd Pl. in Manhattan on August 23, 2019, at approximately 10:45 AM. Officers listed a 42-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his white extended cab Chevy truck. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $13,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and aggravated intimidation in Manhattan on August 23, 2019, at approximately 11:15 PM. Officers listed a 28-year-old female as the victim and a 32-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic), no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for sexual battery in Manhattan on August 24, 2019, at approximately 6:45 AM. Officers listed a 29-year-old female as the victim and two unknown males as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for identity theft and forgery in the 500 block of Admiral Way in Manhattan on August 24, 2019, at approximately 10:00 AM. Officers listed a 19-year-old female as the victim and a known female suspect opened a lease in the victim’s name. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,317.49. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident in the 5200 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan on August 24, 2019, at approximately 1:10 AM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2004 Silver Chevrolet Silverado driven by Aaron Diaz, 27, of Fort Riley, and a 2012 Jeep Compass driven by Amy Moore, 23, of Junction City, and 2009 Black Chevrolet Cobalt with an unknown driver had crashed into cows on the roadway. Moore was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 1000 block of S Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan on August 23, 2019, at approximately 1:40 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2012 Ford F550 driven by Clifford Shepard, 60, had crashed with a 2014 Chevrolet Cruse driven by Courtney Hardaway, 24. Hardaway was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.
