Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 4200 block of Spook Rock Way in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 8:40 AM. Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged the paint on his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 400 block of Walters Dr. in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM. Officers listed a 67-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect took her diamond ring. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,200.00.

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Seth Child Rd and Dickens Ave. in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 5:00 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2017 Gold Lincoln MKX driven by Delores Thomas, 85, of Manhattan had crashed into a 2011 Silver Chrysler 300 driven by Jaylynn Liggons, 18, of Manhattan. Thomas was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Thomas was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 600 block of Poyntz Ave. in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 6:00 PM. Officers listed a 47-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his Silver Shamino 21 Speed bicycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $800.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 1000 block of Garden Way in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 6:40 PM. Officers listed a 47-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his Schwinn and unknown brand silver bicycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,600.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 1100 block of Waters St. in Manhattan on September 7, 2019, at approximately 10:20 AM. Officers listed a 45-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took miscellaneous tools from his work vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,105.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on September 8, 2019. Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim and a male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for attempted aggravated burglary in the 700 block of E Marlatt Ave. in Manhattan on September 7, 2019, at approximately 3:50 PM. Officers listed a 52-year-old male as the victim when he reported two known males attempted to burglarize his residence.
