Riley County Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in west Manhattan.
Just before 5 p.m. officers were called out to the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in the Redbud Estates neighborhood to respond to a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound not believed to be life threatening. He was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment.
Police say no arrests have been made. Their investigation suggests it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
RCPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
