Police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting early Thursday in Wamego.
The Wamego Police Department says nobody was injured in the incident that happened just after 1 a.m. in the 600 block of Maple Street. According to Police Chief Michael Baker, several bullet casings were located in the street. No damage was reported to any nearby homes.
Police are attempting to locate a white car leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Anyone with information should call the police department at 785-456-9553.
