TOWANDA, Kan. — Butler County authorities say a teenager drowned over the weekend after he drove his pickup truck into a pond.
The Butler County sheriff’s office says the truck went into a pond north of Towanda late Friday or early Saturday. Another juvenile in the car was able to escape.
The boy’s body was recovered on Sunday. No names or other information has been released.
