    Investigation into six-figure USD 378 scam continues

    The superintendent at USD 378 Riley County Schools says an investigation into a scam earlier this month continues.

    On KMAN’s In Focus Wednesday, Cliff Williams clarified the nature of the scam, which cost the district more than $115,000.

    Williams says other than that, there’s very little he can comment on.

    The incident was reported to Riley County Police on Aug. 4.
