WICHITA, Kan. — One teenage girl is dead and another wounded after an argument turned into a shooting in Wichita.

Police say the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Sixteen-year-old Brandi Williams was found unresponsive in the front yard of a home and died at a hospital. An 18-year-old female was also shot but was treated at a hospital and released. Police say several people were at the home when an argument broke out involving the girls and two boys, ages 14 and 16. The boys allegedly began shooting.

The boys were arrested and taken to a juvenile detention facility on suspicion of murder. Formal charges have not been filed.
