Riley County remains in the ‘substantial’ incidence category for COVID-19 cases in the latest report from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Reported Thursday this week due to technical difficulties surrounding the KDHE’s data dashboard, Riley County saw 53 new COVID cases between June 4th and 10th. That’s just 5 more new cases than reported in the previous week.

Riley County’s incidence rate per 100,000 came in at 71.4, figures falling between 50 and 100 per 100,000 residents are classified under the ‘substantial’ incidence category.

To date, Riley County has recorded 13,940 cases since 2020.

Only one COVID-positive patient is receiving care in Ascension Via Christi as of Thursday’s report.

More information from the Riley County Health Department is available here.
