Three incidents involving thefts of catalytic converters were reported over the weekend to the Riley County Police Department.
According to Monday’s activity report, the first incident occurred Friday afternoon in the 400 block of North 16th Street. The estimated total loss was around $830. A second theft was reported Friday evening at Manhattan Town Center, totaling around $2,000. The third incident was reported Sunday in the 700 block of Denison. In that case, the estimated total loss was around $600.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding these thefts to contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
