Manhattan Regional Airport is reaching the end of phase 3 of its runway project.
The airport shutdown completely May 12th to initiate that phase.
Airport Director Brandon Keazer shared with the Airport Advisory Board June 12 that the paving of the runway intersection is almost complete.
Keazer says phase 3 is estimated to be completed by July 19 and phase 4 will begin immediately afterward.
The Manhattan Regional Airport is scheduled to reopen at the beginning of September.
