    Kala Auchard, 28, of Topeka was arrested on June 27, 2023, around 10:45 a.m. on her Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation after being transported from the Shawnee County Jail. This warrant stems from an original charge of flee and elude. Auchard remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $10,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, battery, and disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of Chase Pl. in Manhattan on June 27, 2023, around 9:45 p.m. A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were listed as both the victims and suspects when it was reported the man threw the woman in a pool and the woman punched him after getting out of the pool. It was also reported after this altercation, a separate 22-year-old man pulled out a handgun and threatened the woman with it.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 1100 block of Fremont St. in Manhattan on June 28, 2023, around 12:30 a.m. A 36-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his white Marin Coast Trail 26-inch bicycle was stolen from a common area of his shared residence. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,800. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.
