2024 safety Callen Barta flips to Kansas State

    Kansas State’s busy weekend continues.

On Sunday, just a day after visiting Kansas State, 2024 safety Callen Barta of Seaman High School (Topeka, KS) announced his intentions to flip from his Nebraska commitment to Kansas State.

The two-star safety had been committed to Nebraska since June, but a recent offer from Kansas State appeared to change his recruitment as he visited the Wildcats for an official visit this past weekend.

Barta has shined on both sides of the ball for Seaman but appears to be best fit to play safety at the next level, as his 6-foot frame gives him the required size to translate to the next level, too.
