    Wildcats in the NFL – Week 8

    Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
    Anudike-Uzomah, a first-round pick this year, saw time on nine defensive snaps in Kansas City’s 24-9 loss at Denver. The defeat dropped the Chiefs’ record to 6-2 this year prior to facing Miami in Munich, Germany, on Sunday morning.

    Ekow Boye-Doe, CB – Kansas City Chiefs
    A rookie free agent this past offseason, Boye-Doe is on the Chiefs’ practice squad. Kansas City suffered a 24-9 defeat at Denver to fall to 6-2 on the year, and the Chiefs travel to Munich, Germany, to face Miami on Sunday morning.

    JuJu Brents, CB – Indianapolis Colts
    Brents, a second-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, was inactive due to injury in the Colts’ 38-27 home loss to New Orleans. Indianapolis is now 3-5 this season prior to taking on the Panthers in Carolina on Sunday.

    Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Hayes, a sixth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, carded a pair of tackles on punt coverage among his 16 special teams plays in Tampa Bay’s 24-18 loss at Buffalo on Thursday night. Now 3-4 this season, the Buccaneers travel to face Houston on Sunday.

    Timmy Horne, DL – Atlanta Falcons
    Horne, a second-year veteran, is on the Falcons practice squad. Atlanta suffered a 28-23 loss at Tennessee to see its record even at 4-4, and the Falcons host Minnesota on Sunday.

    Malik Knowles, WR – Minnesota Vikings
    Knowles, a rookie free agent signee by Minnesota this past spring, is on injured reserve. The Vikings earned a 24-10 win at Green Bay – their third-straight win – to improve to 4-4 this year, and Minnesota stays on the road to take on Atlanta on Sunday.

    Tyler Lockett, WR – Seattle Seahawks
    Making his 110th career start, Lockett hauled in eight passes for 81 yards – including a 12-yard touchdown catch – to help Seattle secure a 24-20 home victory over Cleveland. Now 5-2 this season, Seattle travels to face Baltimore on Sunday.

    Cornelius Lucas, OL – Washington Commanders
    A ninth-year pro, Lucas was in for five special teams plays during Washington’s 38-31 home loss to Philadelphia. The Commanders fell to 3-5 this season prior to a game at New England on Sunday.

    Byron Pringle, WR – Washington Commanders
    A signee by Washington this offseason, Pringle was targeting once among his seven offensive snaps in addition to seeing time on 15 special teams plays in the Commanders’ 38-31 home loss to Philadelphia. Washington, which is now 3-5 this season, travels to face New England on Sunday.

    D.J. Reed, DB – New York Jets
    After missing two-straight games due to injury, Reed made the 46th start of his career fifth this season as he recorded two tackles and played on all 75 defensive snaps in the Jets’ 13-10 overtime victory at the Giants. New York, now 4-3 this season, hosts the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.

    Dalton Risner, OL – Minnesota Vikings
    Risner, an in-season signee by Minnesota, earned his second-straight start and the 64th of his career, and he played on all 72 offensive snaps in the Vikings’ 24-10 victory at Green Bay. It was Minnesota’s third-straight victory to improve to 4-4 this season, and the Vikings travel to take on Atlanta on Sunday.

    Duke Shelley, DB – Los Angeles Rams
    A free agent signee by the Rams after the preseason, Shelley made a tackle on a free kick after a safety among his 27 special teams plays while also seeing time on nine defensive snaps in LA’s 43-20 loss at Dallas. The Rams fell to 3-5 this season prior to taking on the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday.

    Skylar Thompson, QB – Miami Dolphins
    Like he had the previous seven games, Thompson served as Miami’s third quarterback in the Dolphins’ 31-17 home win over New England to push their record to 6-2. The Dolphins take on Kansas City in Munich, Germany, on Sunday.

    Deuce Vaughn, RB – Dallas Cowboys
    A sixth-round selection in this year’s draft, Vaughn was inactive during the Cowboys’ 43-20 home win over the Los Angeles Rams. Dallas improved its record to 5-2 this season prior to a game at Philadelphia on Sunday.

    Cody Whitehair, OL – Chicago Bears
    Whitehair made his 115th-career start and was in for all 66 offensive snaps in Chicago’s 30-13 loss Sunday night at the Los Angeles Rams. Now 2-6 this season, the Bears remain on the road to take on New Orleans on Sunday.

    Russ Yeast, S – Los Angeles Rams
    A seventh-round selection last year, Yeast recorded his eighth start of the season and came away with five tackles in the Rams’ 43-20 loss at Dallas. Now 3-5 this season, Los Angeles travels to take on Green Bay on Sunday.
