The Big 12’s football scheduling plans for the next four seasons have the Sunflower Showdown set each year, but the remainder of the slate for K-State going foward will see the Cats playing every team in the conference at least twice during the period.
That means, however, an matchup with Iowa State isn’t scheduled to take place in 2027. The Cats will see the Cyclones in 24, 25 and 26, but to allow for the rotation of teams to work, the teams who have one of the longest continuous strings of games against each other in FBS aren’t set to meet.
K-State’s 2024 conference slate will include home games against Arizona State, Cincinnati and Oklahoma State, plus Kansas, with road games to BYU, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State and West Virginia.
The 2025 schedule swings back to five home games in 2025, with UCF, Colorado, Iowa State, TCU and Texas Tech visiting Manhattan and the Cats traveling to Baylor, Oklahoma State and Utah plus Kansas.
In 2026, Arizona, Houston and Oklahoma State plus Kansas are set to come to Bill Snyder Family Stadium, with trips to Arizona State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State and TCU on the slate.
For 2027, The Cats will host Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, Utah and West Virginia and travel to Arizona, UCF, Texas Tech and Kansas.
