Alma, KS – A Wabaunsee High School wrestling coach is under investigation and was arrested following multiple claims of crimes against children.

The Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office says that on Monday, Dec. 18, they were made aware of multiple allegations of offenses against minors and called to the USD 329 district office. It was there officers made contact with Tyler Douglass, 30, of Alma who had been coaching since Dec. 2021.

Douglass was then taken into custody and booked into the Wabaunsee County Jail on charges of contributing to a child’s misconduct and furnishing alcohol to minors.

As of Tuesday, Dec. 19, Douglass has bonded out and is no longer in custody.
