Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Marlatt and N. Seth Child Road in Manhattan on February 2, 2024, around 6:40 PM. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 2007 blue Toyota Corolla driven by Whitney Francis, 47, of Manhattan crashed with a 2002 gold Honda Odyssey driven by Gabriel Ramos-Calleja, 20, of Manhattan. Francis was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries as was a 19-year-old passenger from Ramos-Calleja’s vehicle. Francis was issued a citation for failure to stop or yield at a stop sign.

Officers listed a 21-year-old male as the victim when he reported a known female suspect damaged his television.
