Grow Green Match Day returns Monday

Monday is the 12th annual Grow Green Match Day in Manhattan.

Another participating organization is Thrive Flint Hills. Executive Director Jayme Morris-Hardeman says the work Thrive does spawned out of work she did previously with CASA families and children going through the foster care system with some common challenges.

Riley County Historical Museum Director Katharine Hensler says anything raised for the Historical Society through Grow Green will go toward operational expenses.

Donations can be made in person at the Colony Square Atrium, located at 555 Poyntz Ave. or online through GrowGreenManhattan.com. Checks postmarked by today can also be mailed to GMCF, PO Box 1127 Manhattan, KS 66505.
