MANHATTAN, KS (K-State) – K-State volleyball and second-year head coach Jason Mansfield unveiled the complete 2024 schedule Thursday, featuring 13 home matches at Morgan Family Arena.

The Cats’ 27-match schedule also features 14 matches against teams from last season’s NCAA Tournament field, including seven Big 12 foes and non-conference opponents USC, UMBC, UC Santa Barbara and Purdue.

The season officially begins Friday, August 30 in West Layfette, Ind., as the Wildcats take part in the Purdue Volleyball’s Stacey Clark Classic. The three-day tournament will include matchups against tournament host Purdue (Aug. 30), UC Davis (Aug. 31), and UMBC (Sept. 1).

The non-conference slate continues at the Bluejay Invite hosted by Creighton in Omaha, Neb., where the Cats will face USC (Sept. 6) and the Bluejays (Sept. 7).

The Wildcats open their home schedule with a six-match homestand at Morgan Family Arena, starting with the K-State Invitational from September 12-15. K-State will take on Lipscomb in the home opener on Thursday, Sept. 12, before rounding out the invitational against North Carolina (Sept. 15).

After the home tournament, the Wildcats will host UC Santa Barbara on September 19 before a battle of the Mansfield brothers on September 21 when former Big 12 rival Oklahoma makes the trip to Manhattan.

K-State’s conference schedule gets underway with a midweek matchup against Houston on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Morgan Family Arena, highlighting the nine-match home Big 12 slate. The Wildcats will also host UCF (Sept. 27), Iowa State (Oct. 5), Utah (Oct. 24), West Virginia (Oct. 31), Baylor (Nov. 13), TCU (Nov. 15), KU (Nov. 24) and BYU (Nov. 29).

In Big 12 play, the Wildcats travel to Texas Tech (Oct. 3), Cincinnati (Oct. 10), West Virginia (Oct. 13), KU (Oct. 17), Iowa State (Oct. 26), Arizona (Nov. 6), Arizona State (Nov. 8), UCF (Nov. 20) and Colorado (Nov. 27).

Ticket information and the 2024 broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Wildcats retained 10 letterwinners from last year’s roster, including All-Big 12 honorees Aliyah Carter and Aniya Clinton. In its first season of the Mansfield era, K-State concluded its 2023 campaign 16-11 overall and 10-8 in Big 12 action. The Cats turned in a program record five Top 25 victories, that included a historic sweep over reigning National Champion Texas at Morgan Family Arena.
