The Caterpillar buildings and grounds in Wamego are up for sale, according to an email sent Nov. 20 by the Pottawatomie County Economic Development Corporation.
Caterpillar announced in June that it would be closing the Wamego facility.
At the time of the closure announcement, Caterpillar was the third largest employer in Pottawatomie County and the largest in Wamego.
