Latest K-State bowl game projections

K-State is now 7-3 overall and 4-3 in Big 12 play after last night’s loss to Arizona State 24-14 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Even thought the Wildcats are not eliminated, the loss leaves K-State’s chances slim to take it to Arlington, Texas for the Big 12 championship game. Plus, winning the Big 12 championship would now be the only shots for the ‘Cats to make the College Football Playoff.

K-State needs a lot to go their way at this point to make it to Arlington. That includes winning at home next week against Cincinnati and then beating Iowa State in Ames to finish the regular season 6-3 in the Big 12. If you’re a KSU fan, you also need BYU to win out (at Arizona State, vs. Houston), Colorado to lose out (at KU, vs. Oklahoma State) and Arizona State to lose out (vs. BYU, at Arizona). That’s keeping it simple. The odds of that happening is, of course, super slim. DraftKings now gives K-State +15000 odds to win the Big 12 championship.

Here are K-State bowl game projections from various outlets
