Jingle Bell Rock found in record time

    Colin and Diana Rose

The Jingle Bell Rock has been located at Northeast Community Park in Manhattan.

Colin and Diana Rose, along with their dog, found the rock in record time Monday on Cecil’s bass Birding Trail adjacent to the park.

The couple further detailed their journey, which started on McCall Road.

“After the landing we came across the Big Blue River Trail,” said Colin. “We followed around with our dog, and we came to a part where you can either go left or go right. And my wife was standing on top of a rock, which was covering the Jingle Bell Rock. I glanced and we saw it, put it under our shirts so nobody tried to take it.”

The Roses said they now have a special memory on a local trail that they haven’t been on before.

Diana also gave tips for future hunters, saying she recommends  “Getting out there and explore new trails because we hadn’t been on this one yet. And make sure you have a backpack if you’re out there looking for it, because it is heavy to carry back!”

Check out a break down of all the clues that led the Roses to the Jingle Bell Rock here.
