A senior citizen was scammed out of $1,000 after they were deceived into purchasing gift cards from the company she worked at.
The report was filed by RCPD officers in the 3300 block of Mercer Drive on Thursday just prior to 11:30 a.m. and lists a 73-year-old female as the victim.
