    Burglary reported on Bluemont Avenue

    On January 27, 2025, at approximately 7:53 AM, officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a burglary report in the 600 block of Bluemont Ave. D&R Construction was listed as the victim after an unknown suspect gained access to a trailer and stole tools. The total loss from the burglary is approximately $2,265.

    Authorities are seeking information related to the incident. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest or resolution of the case. Individuals can remain anonymous when submitting information.
