    Officers filed a report of an injury accident in the 700 block of Wildcat Creek Road on January 29, 2025, at approximately 5:03 PM.  Officer report Rontavius Banks, 28, of Ogden lost control of his vehicle due to unsafe speed for road conditions.  Banks was transported by EMS to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Banks was later arrested for driving while suspended.

    Kelvy Abbott, Jr., 20, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, at approximately 10:27 AM in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road.  Abbott was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated indecent liberties with a child and rape where the offender is 18 or older and the victim is < 14 years of age. Total bond was set at $75,000. Abbott was confined at the time of this report.  Due to the nature of this crime, no other information will be released at this time.

    Jesse Brewer, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, in the 1300 block of Laramie Street. Brewer was arrested on the probable cause offenses of trafficking contraband into a correction/care facility, criminal damage to property x 2, theft of property or services x 3, and domestic battery, possession of opiate/opium/narcotic/or certain stimulant. Total bond was set at $16,500. Brewer was confined at the time of this report.

    Matthew Cordel, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, at approximately 3:45 PM in the 1000 block of Sunset Ave. Cordel was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge in this matter was for aggravated arson. Total bond was set at $15,000. Cordel was confined at the time of this report.

    Jessica Urbina, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested on January 29, 2025, at approximately 4:59 PM in the 300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. Urbina was arrested on the probable cause offenses of use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body and 2 counts of possession of opiate/opium/narcotic/or certain stimulant. Total bond was set at $5,000. Urbina was confined at the time of this report.
