Two county commissioners, four county office holders and two judges were sworn-in at Monday’s county commission meeting in Riley County following the November elections.

On the county commission, Greg McKinley and Kathryn Focke were both sworn-in to four-year terms by County Clerk Rich Vargo. Both McKinley and Focke were re-elected in November after being unopposed in the election.

Amongst the county office holders, County Attorney Barry Wilkerson, County Clerk Vargo, County Treasurer Shilo Hegar and County Register of Deeds Amy Manges were all sworn-in to four terms. And finally, Judge Kendra Lewison and Magistrate Judge Jeremy Larchick were sworn-in to four year terms.

For reorganization on the county commission, McKinley will now serve as Board Chair. He previously served as the Board Vice Chair. Focke will take McKinley’s old position while Commissioner John Ford, who was not up for election, will serve as member.
