Two people, including a Manhatan resident, were taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Junction City on Tuesday afternoon following an accident in Geary County.

The accident occurred just prior to 4:30 p.m. on I-70 just a mile west of K-18 when a 2012 Ford F150 driven by Bryce Morgan, 48, of Manhattan was rear-ended by a 2013 Acura RDX driven by Mary Siemans, 72, of Olathe.

Both individuals were transported to the hospital for suspected minor injuries. Morgan was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital for his injuries. Both were wearing safety restraints according to the KHP crash log.
