Today, Mike unpacked K-State ‘Name Image Likeness’ with Pierson McAtee and Curry Sexton, a pair of former KSU student athletes, now managing Wildcat NIL.
Wildcat NIL aims to align student athletes with team-wide deals to bring maximum value to fans and the team. Capitalizing on the individual draw of student athletes through personal branding and social media, Wildcat NIL has vastly changed the landscape of sponsorship within college athletics.
Sexton and McAtee answer pressing questions on the organization: how does it affect transfer portals? Does it foster complicated team dynamic? How can equity and healthy competition be maintained?
