    Officers filed a report of stalking and violation of a court order in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road, on April 24, 2025. A 28-year-old woman was listed as a victim when it was discovered that a 29-year-old man had violated two separate no-contact orders, three times between the dates of April 22, 2025, and April 25, 2025. Sherman Sherin II, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested on April 24, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child, for stalking and six counts of violation of a protection order. Sherin II remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $20,000.

    Derrick Smith, 25, of Atwater, CA, was arrested on April 24, 2025, at approximately 11:22 a.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road, for failure to appear. This warrant stems from the original charge of aggravated robbery. Smith remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $20,000.

    An Officer reported he contacted a 54-year-old male in the 3000 block of Conrow Drive on April 24, 2025. During the contact, the officer arrested the 54-year-old male for three failure to appear arrest warrants, stemming from the original charges of battery, two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer, and possession of marijuana (3rd offense). The officer reported that when he arrested the 54-year-old male, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. John Swartz, 54, of Manhattan, was arrested on April 24, 2025, at approximately 10:34 a.m. in the 3000 Conrow Drive for three Riley County District Court warrants on failure to appear, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Swartz remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $77,000.

    Jeffery Bailey, 44, of Pittsburg, KS, was arrested on April 24, 2025, at approximately 10:24 a.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road, for violation of a protection order. Baily is still confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $20,000.
