    Two teens arrested in aggravated robbery and battery case

    Two Manhattan teenagers have been arrested in connection to an aggravated robbery and battery incident that occurred earlier this month in Aggieville.

    Riley County Police filed a report stemming from an incident on April 12, 2025, around 11:00 p.m. in the 1100 block of Moro Street. A 17-year-old male reported that he was assaulted by multiple individuals and had property stolen during the encounter.

    Following an investigation, authorities arrested 15-year-old Amarion Blanton and 17-year-old Joshua Davis Jr., both of Manhattan, in connection with the case. Blanton was taken into custody on April 22 at approximately 2:32 p.m. in the 1700 block of Winne Drive. Davis Jr. was arrested earlier that day at around 2:12 p.m. in the 400 block of Brookmont Drive.

    Both teens were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated battery. They are currently being held at the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
