Manhattan High boys’ golf capped a standout postseason with a third-place finish at the Class 6A state championship, posting a two-day team score of 589 (13-over) at Quail Ridge Golf Course.

“We really thought we had a good chance to win today,” head coach Brad Ficke said. “Picking up hardware at the 6A state tournament is special — we’re not satisfied, but we’re appreciative.”
