    The Riley County Police Department responded to a variety of incidents and made several arrests between May 2 and May 3.

    Among the 21 incidents reported, officers investigated two non-injury accidents, a stolen vehicle, domestic disputes, drug-related activity, and a sex offense. A reported unattended death occurred on the morning of May 3 on Tatarrax Drive in Manhattan. Other calls included an assault near N. 11th Street and Vattier, multiple instances of found property, and reports of disorderly conduct and larceny​.

    Four arrests were made during the reporting period. Dana Marie Abernathy, 19, of Manhattan, was arrested for domestic battery. Asia Chantrel Ann Channel Foster, 33, was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, interference with law enforcement, and failing to obey a lawful order. Adam John Rundell, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested for multiple theft-related offenses, including theft of property valued between $1,500 and $25,000 and making false information. Additionally, Yenysia Amani McGee Sanders, 25, of Junction City, was arrested on a probation violation warrant.
