    Commission votes to approve application process for moving grant

    Riley County commissioners on Monday unanimously voted to have MakeMyMove proceed with an application for a federal grant on behalf of the county.

    MakeMyMove is a company that facilitates relocating households to areas looking for new residents.

    Commissioners in Thursday’s meeting decided to move forward in the process of a grant application through the state of Kansas to bring new households into the county. The company will apply for the Home in the Heartland Grant.
