In a deal reached with the county attorney’s office, a Manhattan teen on Tuesday entered a guilty plea to robbery in Riley County District Court.

Sixteen-year-old Miles Ellner’s defense attorney, Christopher Biggs, and Riley County attorneys recommend a sentence of probation, but Ellner faces a possible sentence of nine to 18 months in a juvenile corrections facility.

About the events leading to his charge, Assistant County Attorney Phon Sounakhen said Ellner and another teen devised a plan in April to rob a 16-year-old boy.
