By KMAN Staff on July 26, 2025 RCPD Reports

Multiple arrests and incidents were reported across Manhattan on July 25, according to Riley County Police Department records. Among the more serious incidents, officers responded to a reported robbery just after 11 p.m. in the 3600 block of Everett Drive and to a burglary early the next morning at Manhattan Christian College on Anderson Avenue.

Several battery cases were also reported Friday night, including one in the 300 block of South 3rd Street and another on Moro Street. A vehicle theft was reported earlier in the day at the Lamplighter Apartments on North Manhattan Avenue, and officers also responded to fraud reports, domestic disturbances, and a stolen property case throughout the day.

In addition, seven individuals were arrested. Among them, 21-year-old Blake Andrew Nelson of Manhattan was taken into custody by Kansas State University Police on suspicion of DUI. Roylee Gordon, 37, of Washington, Kansas, was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property following an incident at the Bluemont Hotel. Asia Channel Foster, 33, was arrested late Friday night near 12th and Moro for obstructing public space and failing to follow a lawful order. Other arrests included multiple warrants for failure to appear and probation violations.

Authorities also responded to multiple traffic-related incidents, including two accidents on Fort Riley Boulevard—one of which resulted in injuries. The reports remain under investigation.

Anyone with information about a crime can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
