The City of Manhattan first confirmed via social media in February 2019 that the popular fast-food restaurant, known for its ice cream, was planning to expand to the Little Apple. Nearly six and a half years later, no project has been close to shovel ready.
Braum’s corporate spokesperson Amanda Beuchaw confirmed to KMAN and The Mercury via email that there are still no set plans for a Manhattan store.
“We do own that location,” she said. “Our intent is still to build here, but we do not have a timeline at this point. Manhattan has been on our radar for quite some time, but we haven’t been able to get everything lined up to start building yet.”
