The Manhattan city commission on Tuesday will consider a $5 million project within the Manhattan Business Park.
City commissioners will enter into an executive session at the meeting to consider the sale of 8.5 acres, located adjacent to the Manhattan Regional Airport, to Torgeson Electric Company. According to the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Monday Matters newsletter, the real estate transaction is the next step toward Torgeson constructing a new facility in Manhattan.
The Chamber says the new facility will support the company’s growth in the Manhattan market and areas west of the city. Work in the new space will include manufacturing and pre-fabrication as well as other construction support and service functions.
