    Motorcyclist airlifted after Manhattan crash

    One person was cited after striking a motorcyclist with his truck Tuesday morning in southeast Manhattan.

    According to the Riley County Police Department, a Chevy Silverado driven by 55-year-old Ysidoro Arguello struck a Harley Davidson, driven by 71-year-old Donald Taylor in the 400 block of Levee Drive. Taylor had to be transported by LifeStar helicopter to KU Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.

    Arguello was cited for inattentive driving, no proof of insurance and no proof of driver’s license.
