    37-year-old woman’s arrest tied to meth, contraband case

    A Manhattan woman was arrested Tuesday evening on a probation violation warrant tied to previous drug and contraband charges.

    Riley County Police said Sarah Way, 37, of Manhattan, was taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road. The warrant stems from original charges of possession of methamphetamine and attempted trafficking of contraband in a correctional institution.

    Way was booked into the Riley County Jail with no bond and remains confined at the time of this report.
