A Manhattan woman was life-flighted following a vehicle/pedestrian accident early Tuesday afternoon. Alysa Hodges, 20, was first taken to Via Christi Hospital via ambulance and then life-flighted to an unknown location. Major Don Stubbings, the K-State Police Assistant Director for Support Services and Public Information Officer, indicates Hodges was in stable condition. The accident occurred at Denison and Hunting Avenues at about 12:15 Tuesday afternoon. Updated 11 a.m.: Riley County Police located and apprehended a suspect in recent aggravated robberies at approximately 4:00 AM Thursday after an overnight search lasting several hours. Officers responded to the area of Cambridge Apartments in the north western portion of Manhattan after receiving a tip regarding an aggravated robbery suspect’s location.
