Riley County Police made a high bond arrest on Friday, when 20-year-old Jonathon Elliott was arrested on two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of child misconduct and one count of theft of property or services. Elliott received a bond of $260,000 and he is confined to the Riley County Jail. ### A Manhattan man was arrested Friday evening for several crimes against a child. Zachary Estrada,25, was arrested on one count of indecent liberties with a child and one count of attributing to child misconduct. Bond was set at $10,000 and Estrada remains confined.

The Public Affairs office at Ft. Riley issued a press release early Saturday regarding the death of an unidentified teenager on post. According to the release, a teenage family member died of an apparent gunshot wound around 7:30 FRiday evening The release went on to say that this was an isolated incident and that there was no active shooter. Fort Riley leaders are providing support to the affected families. The incident is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the United States Army.

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) A 36-year-old man has been arrested in the stabbing of his father in Wichita. Wichita police Lt. Todd Ojile said Thursday the suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder. According to police, the suspect stabbed his 74-year-old father multiple times Wednesday afternoon at the suspect’s home. Authorities say the victim was found by his wife, who contacted police. The suspect was arrested several blocks away from where the incident happened. Ojile said the victim, who has not been identified, was transported to a hospital, where he is in “extremely critical” condition.
