A 30-year-old Manhattan man entered a plea of no contest in Pottawatomie County Friday to manufacturing methamphetamine. Matthew Sundgren’s sentencing has been set for June 11th. Sundgren was arrested September 17th of last year in the 7600 block of Cedar Creek Road in Manhattan, which is located in Pottawatomie County. Other original charges included possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a telecommunications device. The arrest was a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the Riley County Police Department.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department made a drug-related arrest on Thursday evening in the 700 block of Fort Riley Boulevard. David Coombs, 53, of Olathe was taken in to custody at approximately 8:10 p.m. His charges include possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of hydrocodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
