KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP)– Danny Duffy’s fastball was too much for the Toronto Blue Jays’ power hitters. Duffy pitched six sharp innings to pick up his first victory in more than two months as the Kansas City Royals beat the Jays 3-0 Friday night. Duffy (3-4) shut down a Blue Jays offense which leads the majors with 470 runs. A Manhattan man is behind bars for four outstanding warrants. Brian Keith Flanary, 36,  was arrested Friday in Junction City in the 800 block of South Washington Street. Flanary had one outstanding warrant for failing to appear at the Junction City Municipal court and one outstanding warrant for failing to appear at Geary County District Court. Flanary also had an outstanding warrant out of Saline County and Leavenworth.
