KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) Kansas officials have revoked the license of a nurse who was fired and later charged with sexually assaulting three patients. The Kansas City Star reports that the Kansas State Board of Nursing took the final steps to strip Dennis Clark of his license Friday. The 47-year-old Gardner man was charged last month in Wyandotte County District Court with three counts of aggravated sexual battery. Prosecutors said in a written statement that the alleged assaults occurred from December through May while Clark worked in a post-anesthesia care unit at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. A Clay County woman was arrested on Friday afternoon in connection with a hit and run accident earlier in the day that killed a Clay Center man. CLAY CENTER, Kan. (AP) Authorities say an 83-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in northeast Kansas after getting out of his car to check on an injured deer. Clay County Sheriff Chuck Dunn says Joe Knitter, of Clay Center, died in the accident early Friday on U.S. 24. Dunn says Knitter’s wife was driving their car and struck the deer.
