Riley County Police Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary in the 1900 block of College Heights Road on Saturday around 10 A.M. Officers listed a 20-year-old male as the victim, who reported that a plate carrier and ceramic plates were stolen from his vehicle by an unknown subject. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $3,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.

Nearly 1,300 people — some dressed as turkeys — bundled up and flocked to Aggieville Thursday morning to begin their Thanksgiving Day celebrations with a jaunt about town. The ninth annual MHK Turkey Trot 5K race kicked off shortly after 9 a.m., leading 1,278 runners and walkers from Moro Street in Aggieville through City Park, east on Poyntz Avenue to Manhattan Town Center and back again.
