(K-State Athletics)  – Kansas State was picked sixth in the Big 12 coaches preseason poll, as the conference office continued to release their preseason awards ahead of its annual media day on October 18. The Wildcats received 106 points in the poll, seven points behind fifth-place TCU (113) and 11 points ahead of seventh-place Iowa State (95). A Manhattan man was charged early Thursday morning following a domestic dispute in the northwest area of town. The Riley County Police Department says 20-year-old Alexander Arwine was arrested in the 3300 block of Newbury Street on probable cause offenses of domestic battery, battery on a law enforcement officer and interference. Due to the nature of the crime, no additional information is being released. Arwine remains jailed on a $19,000 bond.
